Educational Qualifications:
| Scientist – B | Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or Institution in Civil/ Chemical/ Environmental – 10 posts, Mechanical – 01 post and Mining – 01 post. |
| Junior Scientific Assistant | A degree in science with 4 years of experience in the line, preferably in pollution control or related subjects. |
| Senior Technician | Diploma in Instrumentation (04 posts) / Diploma in Electronic (01 post)/ Diploma in Mechanical (01 post). |
| Data Entry Operator (DEO) (Grade II) | (a) Matric with 12th standard pass or equivalent, from a recognized Board / University. (b) should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry work. |
| Junior Technician | (a) 10th class (Matric) pass. (b) Certificate from ITI in Mechanical trade. (c) 3 years of experience in servicing laboratory machines in an organization / institution of repute. |
| Junior Laboratory Assistant | Matric with 12th class pass with Science subjects. |
| Lower Division Clerk | (a) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. (b) Typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi. |
| Attendant (MTS) | 8th Standard Pass from a recognized school. |

- For Scientist ↪ Upto 35 years
- For Junior Scientific Assistant / Senior Technician ↪ Upto 30 years
- For All Other Posts ↪ Between 18 and 25 years
